Steve Allen is a Church Planting Catalyst with the North American Mission Board’s Send Network team, assigned to the Tri-State NYC Metro area. Send Network’s NYC Team has helped to plant 65 churches in the last 5 years. Steve has also served as Associate Pastor for 12 years at Bible Church International, Randolph, NJ, helping to transition the church from a mono-ethnic, first-generation, Filipino immigrant church into a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church.

Steve was born in Ada, Oklahoma, and received his BA from East Central University in Ada. He earned his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas. Currently, Steve is pursuing his Doctorate of Ministry with Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, NC.

Steve and his wife, Gina, live in Fanwood, NJ and have three children--Michala, Braden and Madison and one son-in-law, Davis Townes. The Allens answered God’s call to church planting in 1995, when they moved to Buffalo, NY and planted the first of 2 churches. Steve became a church planting catalytic missionary for Western New York in 2000 and moved to the NYC Metro in late 2003, where they have served ever since.
